SAFFORD – Your child is invited to spend time caravanning with Moses and the Israelites as they escape Egypt in the First Baptist Church of Safford’s Vacation Bible School “Wilderness Escape – Where God Guides & Provides.”

The school will take place Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26, from 9 – 11:30 a.m. and is for children in kindergarten through the sixth grade. Register here today.

Each day, children will become part of history as they see, hear, touch, and taste what it might have been like to live in the Bible times wilderness. We’ll play, craft, sing, dance, and snack our way through stories and discover the truth straight from Moses- one of history’s greatest God-followers. We will learn that God was with him every step of the way. We have fun wrapped up in Wilderness Escape. We would love to include your child in our journey back in time!

We will be taking what precautions we can against the virus, but children don’t socially distance! Parents are encouraged to make their own decisions about risk assessments for their children.

We will be taking temperatures and will turn away all children with a fever. Thank you for keeping your sick children home. Hand sanitizer will be dispensed to each child after each rotation. The church facility will be sanitized daily. We will work hard to make the Vacation Bible School a fun and safe place to learn about Jesus.

The First Baptist Church of Safford is located at 1109 S. 7th Ave. in Safford, across the street from Safford Middle School.
