PIMA – The annual chili cook-off and dessert auction are slated for Saturday evening  Oct. 20, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Carter Farm Museum in Pima.  Judging will be for the Hottest, Most Unique, Spiciest, and Best Overall.

Scrumptious desserts will be auctioned off by Gerald Schmidt, followed by a supper of all-you-can-eat chili and/or chili beans with rolls, cornbread, and tortillas.  This, along with Leroy Smith’s homemade root beer and Anna Jane Jarvis’ apple cider can all be had for a family-friendly donation of $3 per person.  Also to be auctioned is a set of crocheted children’s blocks made and donated to the museum by May Louise Weech Taylor about a month before she passed away this summer.

Your entry of chili or chili beans and/or a dessert is most welcome.  For further information call 928-485-3032.
