Pima High School is proud to announce senior Justine Penrod, junior Casey Matthews, sophomore Princess Cabrera, and freshman Veronica Walker as February’s Students of the Month.
Students of the Month are selected by their peers, staff, and administration. The Pima Turkey Trot and PHS Booster Club have partnered to provide each of our students of the month with a custom engraved Roughrider hydro flask, a $10 gift card to a local restaurant, and a Roughrider T-shirt.
PHS takes time out to remember Mason, Emmett, and Kade
Almost a year ago on Feb. 21, 2020, our community lost three great young men in a tragic accident. Kade Nelson of Thatcher High School, Emmett Darnell of Duncan High School, and our very own and dear Mason Gann of Pima High School are gone but will never be forgotten.
PHS staff and students will take time out of their busy day this Thursday to enjoy a couple of Mason’s favorite snacks (Dr. Pepper and Goldfish crackers). Students and staff will enjoy the snacks and each other’s company as they gather around Mason’s truck in front of the high school to take a short break in memory of Mason, Emmett, and Kade.
