PIMA – After a two-year absence, the town of Pima is proud to announce the return of its Christmas Tree lighting ceremony Thursday, Dec. 1

This yearโ€™s ceremony will feature Christmas Carols and will take place in Heritage Park next to the Pima Fire Station on 200 West, just south of Highway 70, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The big man himself, Santa Clause, will be available for pictures and to hear your Christmas wishes.

โ€œWeโ€™re starting off small with everything again, and we would like to go back up to where we were with help from the community,โ€ said Pima Vice-Mayor Sherrill Teeter, who spearheaded the event.
