PIMA – After a two-year absence, the town of Pima is proud to announce the return of its Christmas Tree lighting ceremony Thursday, Dec. 1

This year’s ceremony will feature Christmas Carols and will take place in Heritage Park next to the Pima Fire Station on 200 West, just south of Highway 70, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The big man himself, Santa Clause, will be available for pictures and to hear your Christmas wishes.

“We’re starting off small with everything again, and we would like to go back up to where we were with help from the community,” said Pima Vice-Mayor Sherrill Teeter, who spearheaded the event.
