The health department strongly encourages everyone 18 yrs of age and older to receive your vaccination. This vaccine is proven to be safe and effective. In addition, it helps prevent hospitalization and death.
Also, there are other benefits to being fully vaccinated for COVID-19: you no longer have to quarantine if you are identified as a close contact and you can safely travel.
As of Tuesday, Graham County has had 5,544 total confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 5,362 listed as being totally recovered, 105 current active cases, and 77 deaths.
