GRAHAM COUNTY – On March 4, the Graham County Sheriff’s Office terminated detention officer Brandon Palmer, who had still been in his probationary period, due to inappropriate behavior.

According to a memorandum from the Sheriff’s Office, Palmer had sent text messages as well as nude photographs of himself to a jail inmate.

After learning of the incident, the Sheriff’s Office investigated Palmer and issued his termination.

Investigators first learned of the inappropriate behavior while listening to jail calls involving an inmate that occurred March 1.
