SAFFORD – The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is excited to invite the community to the Get A Grip Resurfacing Open House and Ribbon Cutting at 803 W. Thatcher Blvd. in Safford on Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ribbon cutting is at 12 p.m.
Chamber staff, Kay Marchione and Brooke Curley, will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 p.m. The open house is excited to welcome Aridus Wine Company for tastings; they will also serve light refreshments. Norwex and Burnt Ridge soap displays will be at the event as well. Guests in attendance will have the opportunity to receive a percentage off on their next resurfacing project.
Nick and Sarah Bingham own the local franchise Get A Grip Resurfacing covering Graham, Greenlee, and Cochise counties. Lifelong residents of the Gila Valley, the Binghams brought resurfacing to the area almost five years ago. Get A Grip repairs and resurfaces bathtubs, showers, countertops, and cabinets without removal. These services are a fraction of the cost of replacing, while usually completing a job in a single day.
“Beyond impressed,” said Get A Grip customer, Stephanie Southerland. “Turned a not-so-lovely tile shower surround and countertop into a thing of beauty. Great job!”

Get A Grip Resurfacing brings an alternative approach to kitchen and bathroom remodeling. A national franchise, Get A Grip Resurfacing, has existed for over 30 years based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Binghams are a registered contractor for commercial and residential properties.
“We wanted to bring a less expensive option for remodeling to the Gila Valley,” said Nick Bingham.
