EAC offering new recording workshop

THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College is offering a new, short-term, media communications class, Music Recording Workshop. The class will be offered on two consecutive Fridays, Sept. 21 and Sept. 28, from 6-10 p.m. and two consecutive Saturdays, Sept. 22 and  Sept. 29, from 9 a.m-9 p.m. The class will be held on Thatcher campus in ITB-103.

MDC297E, section #6013, Music Recording Workshop will be taught by EAC alum, Nate DeRusha, and will focus on recording principles and learning the fundamentals of audio.

“This workshop is for students seeking to improve their skills with music and audio overlay and video editing for portfolios or YouTube/social media channels,” said DeRusha.

To sign up for Music Recording Workshop, call EAC’s Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 and ask to register for class section #6013. Students 55 and over receive an in-state tuition waiver. Out-of-state residents will be responsible for the out-of-state portion of tuition.
