THATCHER – COUNTRY Financial is pleased to announce the town of Thatcher as a recipient of a COUNTRY Financial Operation Helping Heroes donation. COUNTRY Financial representatives Jenna Ferrin and Vaughn Grant presented a $3,000 donation at a recent town hall event. The donation will support Thatcher’s Police and Fire Departments.
“This donation is greatly appreciated,” said Heath Brown, Thatcher Town Manager. “The Police and Fire Departments will be using these funds to purchase equipment we wouldn’t otherwise have had in our budget. On behalf of the Town of Thatcher, we thank COUNTRY Financial for thinking of our First Responders.”
A program from COUNTRY Financial called Operation Helping Heroes helped make this happen. Through the program, COUNTRY Financial representatives can identify heroes in their communities and do something personally to give back.
“Our First Responders (are) true heroes in our community,” said Jenna Ferrin. “Their hard work and dedication to serving our community is remarkable and we’re happy to support them when we can.”
COUNTRY Financial has donated more than $5 million since 2020 to organizations and programs that support teachers, first responders, active-duty service members, and veterans, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.” The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Later, the program expanded to include first responders and teachers.
