MORENCI – Tickets are now on sale for the second annual Greenlee Gives Back program. This year’s event, Diamonds & Denim, will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, from 6 – 11:30 p.m. at the Morenci Club at 438 Plaza Loop Dr. in Morenci.
Tickets for the event are just $50 and can be purchased by calling Colin Shannon at 520-505-3678. Proceeds benefit nonprofit organizations in Greenlee County.
The Greenlee Gives Back Committee invites the public to join members for an evening of food, entertainment, and an opportunity to learn about the Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley and the Greenlee Community Fund.
Each ticket to “Diamonds & Denim” includes a complimentary drink during cocktail hour, tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, and a steak dinner with dessert.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Crossroads, and the event will include door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a live and silent auction.
Last year’s event raised $12,000 for Greenlee Community Funds and this year we’d like to double that amount. So, join the fun and help support Greenlee County nonprofits, and don’t forget to tell your friends.
