PIMA – The town of Pima will hold its fifth annual Easter Extravaganza this Saturday, April 8, starting at 9 a.m.

Jon Johnson File Photo/Gila Herald: A young participant gathers an egg at last year’s event.

The event takes place at the Pima Ball Fields next to Vard Lines Memorial Arena and will feature three separate age group fields for the egg hunt; newborn to 4 years old, 5 – 9, and 10 – 14. At each field, there will be special prize eggs, with a grand prize for each age group.

In addition to the egg hunts, there will also be an Easter Bunny Coloring Contest with prizes for the winners. And the big bunny himself will be on hand to pose for pictures.

So, be sure to come on out to the Pima Ball Fields on Saturday, April 8, with the egg hunts at 9 a.m., for some good community fun.
