SAFFORD – The Safford City – Graham County Library has chosen local tattoo artist Mario Fuentes as the featured artist for August 2021.
“I love to express myself through several forms of art,” Fuentes said. “I do not limit myself to one medium, style, or concept. I do this on heavyweight watercolor paper, tattooing skin, and last but certainly not least my music group with my brothers”.
Fuentes views each art piece as an extension of his past, where he has been, and what he has learned as well as a preview to the future.
By featuring local artists, the Safford City-Graham County Library wishes to showcase talent, celebrate art in its many forms and enhance the experience of all who come through our library doors.
This show will be available for viewing on the library’s main floor during open hours now through August 31st.
