The Safford City–Graham County Library is proud to host the art of Jenny Griffin.

Jenny is a Gila Valley native and student of Thatcher High School. At 16 years of age, Jenny has sketched ever since she could hold a pencil. Her love of art, animals, and countryside alongside her growing talent is clearly demonstrated in the 18 works currently on display at the Safford City Library.

Over the past three years, Jenny’s work has been recognized for excellence in the Art Guild of Eastern Arizona’s annual Youth Art Show and the 10th annual San Pedro River Arts Council ‘Celebrate the Arts’ fine art show in Benson.

Jenny is the most recent in the Safford Library’s series of featured artists. She is also the first teen to be featured as a stand-alone artist. In featuring local art, the library wishes to celebrate talent and enhance the experience of all who come through our library doors.

This show will be available for viewing on the main floor of the library during open hours now through June 3.
