WASHINGTON D.C. – Following the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election, Congressman Tom O’Halleran (D, CD-1) released the following statement:

“As a former police officer and criminal investigator, I know that facts matter. Now that Congress has received the Mueller report, we should conduct a thorough, bipartisan review to get a full understanding of the information presented in the 400-page report.

What the Russians did to interfere with our elections in 2016 was (a) serious matter. Now, Congress needs to proceed in a serious manner to review the evidence presented about Russian interference and the involvement of American citizens.”

The Department of Justice released a redacted version of Special Counsel Mueller’s report Thursday morning.
