SAFFORD – OneAZ Credit Union is proud to announce Armando Carrillo as its new Safford branch manager. Carrillo brings more than 20 years of financial industry experience to the position, along with a passion for helping the local small business community.
Carrillo started his career in 1998 as a mortgage loan officer in Safford. He has held various positions, including branch manager and business relationship manager, at several Arizona financial institutions including Chase Bank, OneAZ Credit Union and National Bank of Arizona.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to rejoin OneAZ as the branch manager in Safford. I love the local community, and the culture of the credit union really allows me to help our members with the products and services we offer,” said Carrillo. “Helping small business owners discover the financial options to help grow their businesses is extremely rewarding for me.”
Carrillo sits on Local First Arizona’s Graham and Greenlee County Micro-Loan Fund Board, which offers loans to local businesses in the Graham County area to help them stay competitive in a continuously changing economy.
Carrillo is originally from Clifton, and currently resides in Safford with his wife and two children.
