SAFFORD – The first and only baby born on New Year’s Day at the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center this year was Elysia Säde Rodriguez.
Elysia weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19-1/2 inches long at birth.
She was born to Melissa Rodriguez, of Safford, with grandparents Patsi and Joseph Perez, also of Safford.
