GILA COUNTY – Gila County Public Health and Community Services has teamed up with the Homeless Coalition of Cobre Valley to collect nonperishable food, water, and snacks – along with socks, toothpaste, and other essentials to help homeless and low-income recipients Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This is a ‘drive-through-drop-off’ event, with volunteers on site to help unload your donations!
Where? Claypool, at 4247 Broadway. Watch for signs for this drive-through drop-off, and please enter on the side of the Tri-City Fire Department.
What to Donate? Canned soup/stew, peanut butter, canned fruits/veggies, bottled water, canned chicken/tuna, canned beans, packaged snacks (granola bars, seeds, chips, etc.); canned ravioli, Vienna sausage, Ritz crackers (individual packages); ready to eat rice, Spam, little jerky sticks, potted meat, can openers, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, lotion, lip balm, socks, feminine hygiene products.
