SAFFORD – Throughout American history, pastors and churches have played a vital role in the establishment and preservation of religious and civil liberty.

Being “salt & light” requires knowledge of the culture we are attempting to preserve and influence as we fulfill the Great Commission and “make disciples of all nations.”

Being a Biblical Citizen requires a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world around us. You and your church can be the catalyst for restoring Biblical values in your neighborhood, state, and nation.

Turning Point USA’s Biblical Citizenship class is coming to The River Community Church at 1726 S. 1st Ave. in Safford. The eight-week class runs every Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. from April 17 – June 5. Refreshments will be served.

The Biblical Citizenship class uses much of “Constitution Alive!” material but is enhanced with teachings and interviews from pastors and other Christian leaders who are engaged in today’s cultural battles. It was specifically designed for churches to deliver a tool that is easy to use, captivating, and impactful!

Some of the guest speakers appearing via electronic visual communication will be Patriot Academy coach and founder Rick Green, actor Kirk Cameron, David and Tim Barton, and more.

This class looks at our country’s history and system so one could be encouraged to be active at whatever level they choose local, state, and federal.

The class will run at The River Community Church’s Impact Center at 1726 S. 1st Ave. in Safford from 6-8 p.m. every Wednesday from April 17 – June 5.
