THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Music Department is delighted to announce its annual Spring Wind Ensemble Concert for Wednesday, May 1, at 7 p.m., in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Under the direction of EA Band Director Geoff DeSpain, the ensemble will perform a repertoire that promises to captivate and enchant all who attend.

This year’s program features a diverse selection of music, showcasing the talents of the College’s wind musicians. Attendees can expect an evening filled with dynamic rhythms and melodies, ranging from classical arrangements to contemporary compositions.

“The students of the EAC Wind Ensemble have poured their hearts into preparing a diverse program. From the spirited pathways of Italian music to the serene whispers of lullabies, and the vivacious pulse of a Spanish march, this concert promises a journey through an array of emotions and soundscapes,” said DeSpain. “This performance is shaping up to be one for the books, and we are eager to share this unforgettable evening with our community.”

The concert is free and open to the public, offering a convenient opportunity for community members to enjoy local talent and support the arts. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. No reservations are required, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
