Fifth annual Law Enforcement Torch Run BBQ Dinner Fundraiser is this Friday

SAFFORD – Get your orders in now for the fifth annual Law Enforcement Torch Run BBQ Dinner Fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics of Arizona. 

Dinners of shredded meat, barbecue sauce, beans, coleslaw, dinner roll, cookie, and drink will be available for pickup from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Friday, May, 3, at the Safford Fire Department at 650 S. 7th Ave.

All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of Arizona. 

The dinners are $10 per plate and tickets may be purchased from any Safford or Thatcher officer or Safford firefighter. While dinners may be purchased the day of the event, organizers ask that you pre-purchase so they may get an estimation of how much food to purchase to ensure a maximum amount of proceeds go to the Special Olympics. 

So, be sure to support the Special Olympics and get some delicious grub cooked by and handed out to you by our fine first responders.
