WILLCOX – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a full closure with a detour on eastbound Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 191 west of Willcox for road and bridge deck repairs.
All lanes of Interstate 10 will be closed at milepost 318 to milepost 320 from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, and Thursday, Jan. 4. Eastbound traffic will use exit 318 off- and on-ramps and be rerouted back onto Interstate 10 immediately past the U.S. Highway 191 bridge. Speed will be reduced to 55 miles per hour, and there are no load restrictions in place.
ADOT advises drivers to plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and detour signs, and use caution around construction personnel.
