SAFFORD – Congratulations to sixth grader Chassidy Echols for winning the Dorothy Stinson Elementary Spelling Bee on Friday. After 16 grueling rounds, Echols correctly spelled “geopolitics” for the win.
Fifth grader Anthony Tucker was the runner-up.
