GRAHAM COUNTY – The Graham County Chamber of Commerce would like to announce changes in its full-time staff. On Sept. 13, Brooke Curley began her employment with the chamber as a marketing assistant. Brooke is a graduate of Eastern Arizona College and Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she studied Art and English secondary education. She grew up in the Gila Valley, briefly moving away to attend school and returning in 2008.

As a homeschooled student, her first long-term experience in education began at Eastern Arizona College (EAC). After graduating from EAC, she was employed by the Pioneer Newspaper at the age of 19 before attending Brigham Young University-Idaho the following year in 2006. Brooke has worked on the editorial staff for a local online news source, the Eastern Arizona Courier, Copper Era, and the former Arizona Range News.

She has worked hard to create community connections in order to gather information and bring it to residents. We are excited to share the connections and community relationships that she has nurtured over the years with the Graham County Chamber of Commerce. Brooke expressed her excitement about this new opportunity.

“I  am thrilled to be a member of the Chamber group,” she said. “I look forward to showcasing our community and businesses so the rest of the state can see how wonderful the Gila Valley is.”

“We are so excited to have Brooke on our team,” said Chamber Executive Director Vance Bryce. “With her writing skills and love of our community, the Chamber is positioned to market our community authentically and professionally.”
