SAFFORD- The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Brando’s Fun N’ Sun Travel & Cruise held its grand re-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.
The grand re-opening was located inside the Trophies N Tees building at 513 W. Main St. in Safford. Brando’s Fun N’ Sun Travel & Cruise is an eco-tour agency and cruise agency independently owned affiliate of Avoya Travel/American Express. Brando Quinn is the business owner, and the business itself is specifically designed to help the community personalize their vacation to match their desires and budget.
Having just finished a remodel after a flood, the grand re-opening celebrated the new construction as well as travel opportunities, Quinn said.
“With the COVID restrictions being gone, I just want people to know that travel has re-opened,” he said. “I’ve literally been out sailing on ships for the past eight weeks.”
He said he wanted to make sure travel was safe for his travelers and he had no problems.
“I just want people to know that travel is back up, and they can come on down. We’re preferred providers with most of the airlines, hotels, and cruises,” he said. “We don’t charge any fees.”
Events Chair for the Graham County Chamber of Commerce Board, Torey Cranford, told those attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony that she felt the business renovations were amazing. She also said it was great to have the travel company on the business scene again.
“Congratulations on being back and better than ever. You can send us all on vacation,” she said.
Paul David, supervisor for Graham County District One also spoke at the ceremony.
“I will just briefly give a very sincere thank you for anchoring the downtown with your businesses. Thank you for all the charitable things you do,” David said. “We are so pleased from the county’s perspective to see your success.”
Kainoa’s Grill Restaurant provided food to the re-opening attendees, and the ribbon was cut at 5 p.m.
