SAFFORD – The Safford City – Graham County Library has chosen local photographer Anastasia Seaman of Anastasia Studios, LLC as the featured artist for the month of October 2021.
Anastasia moved to Arizona in the 5th grade and first learned photography and photoshop in the GIFT program during high school. She later graduated from Eastern Arizona College with an Associates in both Art and Graphic Design. Later, she attended Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership.
Anastasia loves the art of all mediums but favors photography and editing. Each year she does a 31 Days of Halloween series. Pieces from two Halloween collections are featured in this showing at the library. When asked why she choose Halloween as a subject, she related “I have always loved Halloween. Doing 31 Days of Halloween gives me the opportunity to do something out of my norm each year. It helps me get inspired and to work on my creativity and editing ability to know my tools betters”.
By featuring local artists, the Safford City-Graham County Library wishes to showcase talent, celebrate art in its many forms and enhance the experience of all who come through our library doors.
This show will be available for viewing on the main floor of the library during open hours now through October 28th.
