Arizona Community Foundation accepting grant applications

SAFFORD — The annual competitive grant process for the Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley will provide financial support to worthy projects and programs serving residents of Graham and Greenlee counties. The online application is now open at www.azfoundation.org/grants. Completed applications must be submitted before 5 p.m. on Monday, April 23, to be considered.

Qualified nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and Tribal entities are invited to apply for funding to support the local communities. The Arizona Community Foundation of the Gila Valley accepts funding requests in amounts ranging from $250 to $5,000. Grant funding may be awarded in interest areas including quality education, health innovations, community improvement and development, arts and culture, and environment and sustainability. Projects must serve communities within Greenlee and Graham counties’ geographic boundaries.
