GRAHAM COUNTY – On Sunday, Becky Mulleneaux Ryter Abbott, 50, was declared deceased after rolling her Jeep in a single-vehicle incident in the 2400 block of S. Montierith Lane.

First responders were dispatched to the scene at about 3:12 p.m., however, Lifeline Ambulance reported not having an available unit due to its sole ambulance already on another call.

A passerby initially came upon the scene and reported that Abbott had been thrown from the vehicle and was lying unresponsive in the road.

The LifeNet 10 helicopter was launched and a page for additional manpower from Freeport-McMoRan Inc.’s paramedic staff was made and they responded as well.

Abbott was taken by ground ambulance from the scene and transported to Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center but was later declared deceased.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation of the cause of the crash, which is still unknown at this time.
