Vintage quilts sought for Heritage Days

PIMA – Annually, the Quilt Show is an important part of Heritage Days in Pima. This year, the organizers are asking the public to go to their trunks, cedar chests, attics, and spare bedrooms and bring those heirloom quilts for display.

Dates are April 24, 25. Particulars may be known by calling Diane Allred at 485-9462 or Kerma Matthews at 485-2723. This year’s theme is “Honoring our Founders”. In addition to the Quilt Show, the traditional BBQ Dinner and Cowboy Breakfast will take place. Heritage displays on various families will be prepared by Zelda Jones and Sharon McBride. Photo collages of past Heritage Days, along with our founders will be on display.
