GILA COUNTY – Lane restrictions on U.S. Highway 60 between Miami and Superior near the Pinto Creek Bridge scheduled for Thursday, March 11, have been canceled. Work is still scheduled from 7 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 12.

The week of March 15, motorists should expect flaggers and potential delays at the following times:

  • Tuesday, March 16, through Thursday, March 18, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 19, between 7 a.m. and noon

The restrictions are necessary while crews haul girders for the new bridge to the worksite and place them to form the bridge.

While delays will generally be limited to 15 minutes, longer delays are possible during peak travel times.

Motorists should proceed with caution, slow down, watch for equipment, and follow the directions of flaggers and law enforcement.

More information about the project is available at azdot.gov/PintoCreekBridge.
