Thatcher — The United Way of Graham and Greenlee counties is committed to improving our community through education.  To that end, they recently presented a check to the Eastern Arizona College Foundation for $125,000 for scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year.  Recipients of these scholarships will receive notifications in February.  College President Todd Haynie expressed his gratitude for the donation and the college’s partnership with the United Way, “The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties has made a great impact in the number of local students who are able to attend Eastern.”

CEO Adam O’Doherty shared that the United Way Board of Directors is pleased to fund projects that support education, improve health and increase the financial stability of our communities.

The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties currently assists twenty-six students who are attending EAC from communities across both counties.
