Gila Herald Staff Reports
SAFFORD — Two local staples are marking major milestones this fall and inviting the entire community to join the celebration. Curtis Landscape & Irrigation is celebrating 25 years in business, while its sister enterprise, Curtis Country Store, marks its 20th anniversary.
To thank the Gila Valley community for decades of loyalty and support, the businesses are pulling out all the stops for a massive, all-day celebration on Saturday, No 7, 2026, at the Curtis Country Store, located at 1601 S. 1st Ave. in Safford.
Organizers describe the upcoming event as a way to give back to the customers who have trusted them with their homes and landscapes over the last quarter-century. The celebration will feature live local vendors, free food all day, anniversary merchandise, and what they’re calling their biggest sale ever.
