GREENLEE COUNTY – A memorial service for Trevor Sumner, 21, son of Greenlee County Sheriff Tim Sumner, will be held at the Greenlee County Fairgrounds in Duncan on Saturday, April 27, starting at 10 a.m.
Trevor was reportedly breaking in a horse in Mule Creek, New Mexico on Saturday when he was bucked off and dragged. He did not survive the accident.
The dress for the memorial service is Cowboy Casual and anyone who wants to bring a horse and ride as a tribute during the closing song is welcome.
