PIMA – Christmas is nearly here and time is running out to participate in the town of Pima’s inaugural Community Wish Tree.
The tree sits at Pima Town Hall adorned with tags that list the wishes of children chosen by representatives from the local schools and library who they feel would benefit from having their wishes granted this holiday season.
There are still numerous tags on the tree, and the last day to remove a tag is Friday, Dec. 14. Town officials then request those who remove a tag fulfill the wish and bring wrapped gifts back to Town Hall with the tag by Monday, Dec. 17 before 2 p.m.
The Pima Town Council thanks all for their generosity in helping make local children’s wishes come true.
