SAFFORD – The pharmacy at Thriftee Food & Drug at 755 S. Central Ave. in Safford will permanently close as of Dec. 17, at 5 p.m. The rest of the store will remain unaffected.
Thriftee released the following statement.
“It has been our pleasure to serve as part of your health care team these many years. If you have questions, please visit the pharmacy in the coming days and we will be happy to help you.”
“Please note that only our pharmacy department is closing. As we always have, Thriftee will continue to provide groceries, fresh produce and meat, bakery-deli, and general merchandise to our friends and neighbors in the Gila Valley and beyond. Thank you.”
