SAFFORD – Fostering a good relationship between the community and first responders is at the center of the Community Organized Resource Event (CORE).
The event, which is hosted by the Safford Police Department, is this Saturday, March 24, at Firth Park from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
More than 20 different vendors/organizations will be on hand to interact with the public, including representatives from the Thatcher Police Department, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition, Desert Cat Rescue, the Safford Lions Club, the Mt. Graham Safe House, and the Graham County Health Department.
According to the SPD, there will be free hot dogs and refreshments as well as free drawings for prizes donated from Walmart.
