SAFFORD – Come one, come all, and celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Gila Native Plant Nursery by kicking off our Fall Plant Sale. 

Nursery members will get an exclusive “sneak peek” Friday, Sept. 30, from 4 – 6 p.m. at Eastern Arizona College’s Discovery Park Campus at 1651 W. Discovery Park Blvd. The will be more than 5,000 plants for sale, including native desert trees, cacti, succulents, native grasses, and pollinator plants. 

Not a member? Come out and join and get expert advice from our staff. 

The Fall Plant Sale will be open to the general public on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event will also feature food and activities, such as face painting and games. 

For those who can’t make either event in person, the Fall Plant Sale will also be available virtually online Oct. 3 – 14, with pickup on Fridays between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., and 1 – 4 p.m. Visit www.gwpaz.org/virtual-plant-sale to participate.  

All proceeds go toward supporting the Gila Watershed Partnership.
