GRAHAM COUNTY – The crisp Fall air at night signals that it’s time for the return of the Graham County Fair.

The 95th annual Graham County Fair will kick off Thursday with the livestock and weigh-ins and that evening with doors opening at 5 p.m. There will be unlimited ride bracelet night on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., and the fair will close for the night at 11 p.m. The fair will run from Thursday – Sunday, closing at 5 p.m.

This year’s theme is Boots, Chaps, & Cowboy Hats. Click here for information on admission, ride bracelet times, and more.

The annual Graham County Fair Parade will start at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, and will run from the Graham County Courthouse down Main Street to 3rd Avenue.

Immediately following the parade, school bands from Graham County will gather at the courthouse for a free concert.

There will be plenty of entertainment at this year’s event, including everyone’s favorite hypnotist Hypno Joe, and local bands, including Zaylie and Love Riot and The Cole Trains, who will be playing Saturday, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. The band Take Cover! will also be on hand to play its extensive playlist of hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and more. Take Cover! will be playing Friday and Saturday from 1 – 3 p.m. Click here to see a full list of entertainers and what day they will perform.

The fair will also have a variety of games, events, and exhibits, including the House of Butterflies, and amazing livestock from our local youth, and more.

So dust off your boots, chaps, and cowboy hats and mosey on over to the Graham County Fairgrounds this weekend for a hootin’ and hollerin’ good time. Just try to make sure you keep that fair food down after experiencing some of the thrill rides!
