Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. (SALA), a private, non-profit law firm providing free civil legal assistance since 1951, will begin serving Graham County residents each month at Graham County Superior Court, 800 Main St., Safford and Greenlee County residents each month at Greenlee County Superior Court, 223 Fifth St., Clifton.
Are you a victim of crime and have a civil legal issue related to your victimization? Are you low-income and unable to afford an attorney?
SALA may be able to help you with free civil legal help if you meet the eligibility guidelines. SALA cannot provide assistance with criminal cases.

Young, executive, director, said. “We received a VOCA (Victims of Crime Act Crime Victims Assistance) Grant which is funding this attorney position. We thank our partners, the Graham County Superior Court, especially Judge Michael Peterson, Brandie Lee and Marah Stock, and Judge Wyatt Palmer and Jeanette Aston, Mt. Graham Safe House Executive Director, for providing space to enable us to meet privately with clients.”

- Rental lease termination when necessary to ensure victims’ physical and psychological health
- Safety planning
- Consumer Debt Problems

- Assistance with other civil legal issues may be available
