SAFFORD – Authorities are on the lookout for Robert Hinton, 49, of Safford, after Hinton allegedly stole fireworks from Walmart on Friday, June 14.
A criminal check on Hinton showed he has had six instances where he has been given citations for shoplifting from Walmart at 755 S. 20th Ave. and released. Hinton is also trespassed from the store.
According to a Walmart asset protection employee, Hinton was observed stealing a package of fireworks from the store last Friday. The fireworks have a retail price of $21.79.
The officer reviewed the video surveillance footage and then sent his report to prosecutors for review and a possible felony shoplifting charge.
