WILLCOX – No injuries were reported in a vehicle fire at the U.S. Highway 191 western off-ramp with I-10 on Friday night.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a semi-truck and its trailer became engulfed in fire around 9:30 p.m.

The first fire trucks from Willcox Fire and a DPS trooper arrived at about 9:50 p.m. As firefighters worked to douse the blaze, the trooper blocked the off-ramp from the freeway.

DPS did not list the cause of the fire, and troopers left the scene in the hands of the Arizona Department of Transportation to clear the roadways.
