San Carlos man arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot up schools, cops

SAN CARLOS – Isaiah Wilson Polk, 32, of San Carlos, was apprehended by San Carlos Police at about 1 p.m. after allegedly threatening to shoot up schools and at police officers. 

Schools in the San Carlos area temporarily went on lockdown and a $1,500 reward was offered by the San Carlos Police Department for information leading to Polk’s arrest. 

Roughly one hour after the reward was posted on social media, Polk was taken into custody without incident. 

According to a post by the SCPD, Polk was initially wanted for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, assault/domestic violence, aggravated assault/domestic violence, and misuse of a firearm.

The case is still under investigation.
