SAFFORD – The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce registration is now open for three mouth-watering competitions at this year’s SalsaFest ‘Spicy 17’, scheduled for Sept. 22-23, 2023, in Safford, Arizona. Inviting amateur salsa makers, restaurant owners, and mixology enthusiasts alike, the 2023 NatureSweet Tomatoes SalsaFest promises to be a fiery fiesta of flavors. The Chamber is finalizing a full community event agenda and will release it soon.

Event Competitions

CMI SalsaFest Challenge (Amateur Salsa Making Competition)

When: Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023

Where: East side of Safford City Hall Lawn, 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546

Prizes: $1,000 for the Judge’s Choice, $500 for the People’s Choice, and $200 for the best table display

Registration: Eventbrite

Registration Fee: $10

Eligibility & Guidelines

SalsaFest Taste of the Trail (Restaurant Salsa Competition)

When: Friday, Sept. 22, 2023

Where: City Hall Lawn, 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546

Prizes: $1,000 for Best Overall Salsa, $500 each for Best Green and Red Salsa

Registration: Eventbrite

Best Western Plus SalsaFest Michelada Competition

When: Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023

Where: The Venue and Vignette on Main Street, 430 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546

CMI SalsaFest Challenge: Visit the Eventbrite page and pay the $10 registration fee. Read through the food safety guidelines and make sure to comply.

SalsaFest Taste of the Trail: Contact Vance Bryce at admin@grahamchamber.org to become a member of the Graham County Chamber of Commerce before registering on Eventbrite.

Best Western Plus Michelada Competition: Visit Eventbrite and pay the $15 registration fee. Slots are limited, so act fast!
