ARLINGTON, TEXAS – Mason Duros, currently a junior at Safford High School, has been selected as a quarterback prospect to attend the Blue-Grey All-American Super Combine on June 29-30 in Texas. His selection is based on his season performance and his performance this past February at the Desert Regional Combine held at the facilities of the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale.
Duros has been evaluated by several coaches including an NFL Veteran Selection Committee and will attend the Southwest Super Combine at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. There, he will participate with other skilled elite football prospects from 32 states. National media will be covering the two-day event and college coaches will be on hand for further evaluations that will provide a great platform for additional exposure to college programs.
Duros has been playing in organized football since he was 7; attending several different camps throughout the years and working diligently on his own. He has ultimately been preparing for this opportunity for months in hopes of his selection to the Super Regionals.
“I’m excited to be selected at this level,” Duros said. “It’s humbling to know that I get to experience what playing at the next level is and I’m definitely going to soak in this experience. I’m proving to myself that hard work pays off and potentially playing in a Blue-Grey All-American Bowl is pretty cool. I just have to keep working and not let anything stop me.”
The Super Combine will be delayed streamed nationally by the Impact Football Network (IFN). Players in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl are chosen from participants in six Super Combines across the nation. The Southwest Super at AT&T Stadium is the last Super Combine of the season.
