SAFFORD – The Safford City-Graham County Library is hosting its eighth annual Community Baby Shower on Friday, April 14. All expectant parents and families or caregivers of babies less than a year old are invited to drop by between 9 a.m. and Noon.  The event will celebrate and share early literacy skills while encouraging other ways to build healthy babies.

There will be exhibits with parenting information and the chance to meet people who can answer questions about pregnancy, infant care, parenting, and much more. More than a dozen organizations will be on hand to give useful information and talk about community resources.

The event will feature fun games and hands-on learning, as well as drawings for door prizes and a gift for your baby.

Support for the Community Baby Shower is provided to the Safford Library by a grant from First Things First.
