Mark your calendars because the Safford City-Graham County Library will be holding its annual Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 13. This holiday tradition includes something for every member of the family, with festivities starting at 10:30 a.m. 

Schedule of Events

10:30 a.m. Story time with a holiday theme

11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friends of the Safford Library Holiday Goodies Bake Sale

1 p.m. Visit from Santa Claus

2 p.m. Crafts for Kids, Craft for adults/teens 

4 p.m. Live music and storytelling begins (times subject to change)

4 p.m. Ruth Powell Bulldog Express

4:15 p.m. Safford High School String Quartet

4:30 p.m. “Click Clack Ho Ho Ho” read by Chris Gibbs

4:45 p.m. Pima 4th Ward Cub Scouts

5 p.m. Alberto, Garret, and Edika

5:15 p.m. “Como el Grinch robó la Navidad” read by Araceli Moreno and Noemi Schaffer

5:30 p.m. John’s Joyful Ringers Hand Chime Choir

5:45 p.m. Triumphant Learning Center Children’s Choir

6 p.m. “Twas the Night Before Christmas” read by Safford Police Chief Joe Brugman

6:15 p.m. Safford Library staff and community sing along

All activities are free and everyone in the community is welcome. No library card is needed to attend.
