Russell M. Nelson to visit Arizona in February

GLENDALE – Russell M. Nelson, the President of The Church of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a an evening devotional at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. 

Nelson is expected to be joined by his wife, Wendy Watson Nelson, and first counselor Dallin H. Oaks and his wife, Kristen M. Oaks. 

Nelson, 93, became the 17th president and prophet of the Church in 2018 after the death of President Thomas S. Monson. 

Recently, Nelson’s daughter, Wendy Nelson Maxfield, died Jan. 11 at the age of 67 after battling cancer. 

Nelson had 10 children with his late wife, Dantzel White, who died in 2005.
