Staff Reports

SAFFORD – Early voting in person for the 2024 General Election ends Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

Graham County Elections Director Hannah Duderstadt encourages those who wish to vote early in person to do so by 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 30), or Thursday from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. or Friday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

A reporter from the Gila Herald recently requested a ballot from the Recorder’s Office – located on the second floor of the General Services Building at 10th Avenue and Highway 70 –  and filled it out there without delay. Once completed, a voter simply needs to seal their ballot and drop it in the box. When checked with the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office a few days later, the ballot the reporter had dropped off had been registered as being accepted and being taken for tabulation.

If you have a ballot-by-mail, the sooner you bring your ballot to the Recorder’s Office or drop it off at an official Graham County drop box, the sooner we can finish processing it and send it to tabulation. Please don’t delay, get your ballot back to us by Monday, Nov. 4, to be tabulated early.
