THATCHER – Come by the Safford Lions Club’s Borderlands P.O.W.W.O.W. market this Saturday, Feb. 1, at The Home Depot at 750 S. 20th Ave. in Thatcher from 8 – 11 a.m. for some fruits and veggies.
With no qualifications, you can shop for up to 70 pounds of fresh nutritious rescued produce with a $12 contribution.
This Saturday’s selection may include watermelons, honeydew, oranges, yellow squash, green bell pepper, grape tomatoes, and eggplant.
