Police perform active shooter training at Safford High School

On Friday, the Safford Police Department participated in a multi-agency active shooter training scenario at the Safford High School.

The training was coordinated by Lifeline Ambulance supervisor Rylee Woods.  The participating agencies included;  Safford Police, Thatcher Police, Graham County Sheriffs Office, Pima Police, Graham County Search and Rescue, Lifeline Ambulance and the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center.

Safford High School staff and approximately 50 student volunteers participated in the exercise.
