PIMA – It’s nearly time to strap on a pair of trunks and a feedbag.

The Pima Volunteer Fire Department’s third annual Big Splash Bash returns to the Pima Pool on Saturday, Aug. 10, and looks to be as thrilling an event as the first two.

The fun will take place at the Pima Pool from 5 – 9 p.m., with proceeds going toward the recreation fund for the volunteer Pima Fire Department.

Helicopters from LifeNet and AirEvac will also be on display, as well as various law enforcement vehicles and the Pima Fire Department’s new tanker truck, which was the inspiration for the inaugural season’s event. And don’t forget to grab a firefighter T-shirt for memorabilia.
